The Critics Consensus - The Sims 4: Discover University
by Peter Jason | Dec 02, 2019
Discover University shares many similarities to Sims 3 University Life but that isn't a bad thing. There is a lot to do here and most of it is implemented well. A solid expansion that most Sims 4 players will want to own.
At the time of this post The Sims 4: Discover University had a metascore of 81 on Metacritic. Let's take a look at some of the more prominent reviews.
It’s a stressful and hectic expansion, but reflects a realistic college experience. Now, if only one jog could shed 50 pounds in real life….
Offers a wealth of things to do and a delightful simulation of college life that manages to avoid sacrificing fun for authenticity, while at the same time delivering a memorable college experience.
This expansion is another success in what has been a very strong year for the franchise, and is particularly worth considering for players who like to come to The Sims for realism narratives.
The many elements introduced, from PHD to careers, passing through most goliardic events, are able to create a self-contained chapter in the life of our Sims, clearly satisfying the most fierce fans of the franchise.
