by Peter Jason | Mar 18, 2020
We love the art style of AER Memories of Old, it reminds us of the 32-bit polygon era. We just wish it would've been a bit longer.
At the time of this post AER Memories of Old had a metascore of 69 on Metacritic. Let's take a look at some of the more prominent reviews.
Featuring a stunning low-poly art style, a wonderfully well-integrated soundtrack, an ingeniously simple control scheme, an interesting transformation mechanic, and impressively designed temples, AER has a lot going for it.
AER: Memories of Old is a original game with a combination of walking/flying simulator and puzzles. It's not a easy game, but it has a funny mechanics and beautiful design.
A beautiful game with great flying, only held back by confusing interiors and a short duration.
This game offers an amazing feeling of freedom and puzzles that are intertwined with the settings.
