Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Review

The latest entry in the long-standing fighting game series, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is an excellent way for fans to get their fill. With all of its base content found within 2019's release including every piece from its downloadable content and follow up single player campaign "Aftermath" this newest edition has something that will satisfy any craving you might have!

In an increasingly dark and serious world, it's nice to know that there are still games out here for those of us who just want a good time. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate offers plenty in terms or over-the-top violence with its story mode - but this isn't anything new; what makes the experience stand apart from other fighting game stories (and really make you feel like your playing) comes through beautifully during cutscenes where characters talk among themselves while incredible animations play out across their cruel expressions!

The fighting game mechanics remain largely unchanged from Mortal Kombat X, with the addition of Fatal and Krushing Blows. These powerful moves can only be triggered when your health drops below 30% but they're also one-time use abilities so you'll have to decide how best use them wisely in order to secure victory!

Krushing Blows are small cinematic attacks that deal more damage than a regular move and can be activated if certain conditions are met. The first of these is when an opponent miscalculates with their block timing, which will cause them to be vulnerable for attack; there's also opportunities during counterattacks - depending on how close you were able get before hitting "confirm" (or not) after doing one of these predetermined moves.

Ranked and casual matchmaking, king-of the hill mode are just some of MK11's many offerings. With upcoming ranked seasons as well as private options like lobbies for you to use with friends there is plenty here that will keep even those who most dislike online gaming interested! The game also offers tools so users can see their opponent's win loss ratio in Casual Matches along side estimated chances at success before accepting or declining any proposed fixture based on personal preference - this allows them control over what they're willing/unwilling play but without sacrificing enjoyment.

Verdict

With an intuitive control scheme and easy-to play mechanics, MK11 is the gateway for anyone who's interested in fighting games. With tutorials that teach you all about how it works right away as well as a comprehensive story mode which has plenty of scenes where players get to see some cool combat moves - this game has something everyone will love!
