Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series

Digital 4

Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series is a six-part story set in the world of HBO's Game of Thrones. It follows House Forrester, a noble family from the north of Westeros sworn to the Starks of Winterfell. The Red Wedding leaves the Forresters without their lord and at the mercy of their enemies, and you decide how they try to survive as the Seven Kingdoms tear themselves apart.

A Northern House With Everything to Lose

The Forresters hold Ironrath, a modest seat made valuable by the ironwood forests that surround it. Nobody in the North needs reminding what that timber is worth, least of all the Whitehills, a rival house that has been waiting a long time to make its move. With the Starks broken and the Boltons ruling in their place, Ramsay Snow's shadow falls over Ironrath, and the old loyalties that once protected the family now put it in danger. This is a smaller, more personal corner of the war than the one fought by kings, and that is why it hits so hard: you feel every insult, every broken promise and every loss.

One House, Many Perspectives

Rather than one hero, the series moves between several members of the Forrester household, each fighting a different battle in a different corner of the world.

  • Ethan Forrester is suddenly a young lord, forced to hold Ironrath together while grieving and while stronger houses test how much he will give up to keep his family alive.
  • Mira Forrester serves as a handmaiden to Margaery Tyrell in King's Landing, where a careless word to the wrong person can do more damage than a sword, and help for her family has to be bargained for.
  • Gared Tuttle, squire to the late Lord Forrester, survives the Red Wedding and is sent to take the black with the Night's Watch, carrying a secret his lord trusted him with.
  • Asher Forrester, the family's exiled son, earns his living as a sellsword in Essos and is called on to raise a fighting force strong enough to bring home.
  • Rodrik Forrester, the eldest son, was believed dead after the Red Wedding, and his return raises hard questions about who should lead the house and how.

Choices That Follow You Through the Season

This is Telltale's choice-driven storytelling at its most unforgiving. Dialogue runs on a timer, so hesitation is an answer in itself, and the people you speak to keep track of what you said. Tense action scenes, from sword fights to desperate escapes, can turn on a single moment, and some of the heaviest decisions come afterward, when you choose whether to show mercy or make an example of someone. Those decisions carry across all six episodes, shaping alliances, rivalries and which Forresters are still standing by the finale.

Episode 1: Iron from Ice and Episode 2: The Lost Lords
The opening chapters set the pieces on the board, introducing the Forrester household, its enemies and the scattered family members whose fortunes you will guide through the rest of the season.
Episode 3: The Sword in the Darkness and Episode 4: Sons of Winter
The middle of the season deepens the pressure on every front, as the choices you made early on start to come due in Ironrath, King's Landing, the Wall and across the Narrow Sea.
Episode 5: A Nest of Vipers and Episode 6: The Ice Dragon
The final chapters bring the Forrester story to its conclusion, and the outcome reflects the path you chose for the family over the whole series.

Westeros as You Know It

From the creators of The Walking Dead - A Telltale Games Series and The Wolf Among Us, the story unfolds alongside the events of the show. Familiar faces cross the Forresters' path, including Tyrion Lannister, Cersei Lannister, Margaery Tyrell, Ramsay Snow, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, voiced by the actors who played them on HBO. You walk the halls of King's Landing, stand watch at Castle Black and see how far the family's reach extends toward Meereen, all in the grim, politically charged tone that made the show a phenomenon. This is the Game of Thrones, where you win or you die.

Take Up the Forrester Banner

If you have ever watched a character make a fatal mistake and thought you would have done it differently, this is your chance to prove it. The ironwood stands, the Whitehills are at the gates and your family is counting on you. Step into Ironrath, choose who to trust, and find out what House Forrester is willing to sacrifice to survive.
