This expansion pack lives up to the high standards set by the game it was made for (WarCraft III). It continues the single-player story wonderfully and adds just the right amount of new features to keep it interesting. Pretty much a perfect expansion and a must own. At the time of this post WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne had a metascore of 88/100 and a user score of 9.0/10 on Metacritic, great ratings from both critics and players alike. Let's take a look at some of the more prominent reviews.

Industry Reviews

More than just an expansion - technically, I think the game could be considered a sequel with all the depth that is in the game. If you have Reign of Chaos, this is a must buy for you and RTS fans everywhere.

100/100 Cinescape

If all the features that come with the game aren’t enough value for your hard earned gaming dollar, well you’ll be playing for at least 60-80 hours on the campaign alone.

Frozen Throne has wonderful controls that are smooth and really intuitive. Plus the game adds a whole slew of new things for players to control, from units to heroes.

94/100  GameZone

The quintessential expansion pack; with more to do, see, and experience on many different levels.

90/100  Game Informer

As you can see the critics agree, this is definitely one of the greats and with the upcoming remaster coming soon you might want to grab a WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne Battle.net key to brush up on strategy and tactics.
