A Legend Reborn in Virtual Reality
As the Dragonborn, the prophesied hero born with the power of The Voice, you are the only one who can stand against the dragons threatening the Empire. Skyrim VR retells that saga with a sense of scale flat screens never managed: mountain ranges stretch to the horizon, ancient ruins loom overhead, and a dragon landing in front of you is genuinely, physically imposing. It is the same sprawling adventure players have loved since 2011, experienced from the inside.
Fight With Your Own Hands
Combat in Skyrim VR is something you physically do. With tracked motion controllers, blades swing where you swing, arrows fly when you loose them, and destruction magic pours from your raised palms. Dual-wield spells, block with a shield on your off arm, or shout a charging bandit off his feet with the Thu'um. If you prefer a traditional pad, full controller support is built in as well.

- Choose your side in a war between the Volkihar vampires and the order sworn to destroy them. Wield crossbows, descend into the twilight realm of the Soul Cairn, and decide whether to embrace the power of the Vampire Lords or hunt it down.

- Purchase land and build a home of your own, from a modest cabin to a sprawling manor with an armory, alchemy tower, and greenhouse. Adopt children, hire a steward, and give your Dragonborn somewhere to hang up the sword between adventures.

- Travel to the ash-swept isle of Solstheim to confront Miraak, the first Dragonborn, whose return threatens everything. New shouts, armors, and side quests await, along with the chance to bend the will of dragons themselves.
A World That Answers to You
Skyrim's freedom survives the move to VR intact. Join the Companions, the College of Winterhold, or the Thieves Guild, clear a dragon lair, get married, or simply pick a direction and walk: hundreds of dungeons, towns, and stories sit wherever you choose to look. Alchemy, smithing, and enchanting give your hands plenty to do between battles, and the world rewards curiosity at every turn.
