LEGO City Undercover

Digital 122,00

LEGO City Undercover puts you in the shoes of Chase McCain, a police officer who returns to LEGO City just as the notorious Rex Fury breaks loose and sets off a city-wide crime wave. Going undercover means going everywhere: through more than 20 districts, behind the wheel of whatever you can commandeer, and into a story built on witty writing, film parodies and the signature LEGO humor Traveller's Tales has spent years refining.

Join the Chase

Chase McCain put Rex Fury behind bars once already. Now Rex has broken out of Albatross Island, and Chase is back on the force, much to Chief Dunby's displeasure, with orders to finish the job. That means infiltrating the city's criminal underworld from the inside and earning the trust of crooks he would much rather be arresting. Along the way he has to survive the well-meaning chaos of Officer Frank Honey and patch things up with Natalia Kowalski.

The writing is the real surprise. The story is fully voiced and plays like a buddy-cop comedy rather than a string of levels, and its jokes land just as well with adults as with younger players.

A Disguise for Every Job

Chase's undercover work comes with a wardrobe, and every disguise brings its own abilities. As you unlock more of them, parts of the city that were closed off before start to open up.

Police Officer
Chase's standard uniform comes with a grappling gun for reaching high ledges and a police scanner for tracking down hidden clues, fleeing criminals and collectibles all over the city.
Robber
Slip into the striped shirt and grab a crowbar to pry open locked doors and safes, then sneak past the kind of obstacles a uniformed officer would never get through.
Miner
Swing a pickaxe to smash through rock and use dynamite to blast open silver LEGO objects, clearing routes into tunnels, quarries and sealed-off corners of the map.
Astronaut
Step onto teleporter pads to warp across gaps and into areas nobody else can reach. It is one of the more playful disguises in Chase's collection, and it pays off all over the city.
Farmer
Water plants until they grow into climbable stalks, and tuck a chicken under your arm to flutter-glide across gaps, which is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds.
Fireman
Douse flames with a hose and chop through weakened doors with an axe, saving the day in the most literal way while uncovering secrets hidden behind smoke and fire.

More Than 20 Districts to Explore

LEGO City is a true open world, stretching from Cherry Tree Hills and Bluebell National Park to the launch pads of Apollo Island. In between story missions there are car thieves to bust, vehicles to drive and side activities in every district.

  • Vehicles of every kind: flash your badge to commandeer cars right off the street, then collect new vehicles as you go and call them in whenever a chase or a long drive across town demands something faster.
  • Super Builds: gather Super Bricks as you explore and spend them on large-scale constructions that open shortcuts, add vehicle call-in points and give you new ways to get around the city.
  • Hundreds of collectibles: characters, vehicles, red bricks and gold bricks are tucked into rooftops, alleys and out-of-the-way corners, so there is plenty left to find long after the credits roll.

Two Players, One City

LEGO City Undercover first released in 2013, and the 2017 release added two-player co-op, which changes the feel of the whole city. A second player can join on the same console to share the investigation, the chases and the hunt for collectibles. That makes it an easy pick for a parent and child, or for two friends on the couch who want to tear across town together.

Signature LEGO Humor

TT Games built its name on licensed LEGO adventures, but City Undercover tells an original story, and you can feel how much the studio enjoyed that freedom. Expect affectionate nods to classic cop shows, prison-break dramas and action films, plenty of slapstick and a cast of oddballs who never take themselves too seriously.

If you have ever wanted a LEGO game with room to wander, a story worth following and a partner in crime-fighting by your side, LEGO City Undercover is waiting. Pin on the badge, pick a disguise and join the Chase.
