From silent crossbows to heavy-duty rocket launchers, pick the perfect tool for the job. Every outpost, fortress and convoy can be approached quietly, with a bow and a knife and the patience to wait for the patrols to turn, or loudly, with a mounted machine gun and a stack of explosives. Both are valid answers in Kyrat, and the game gives you the kit to change your mind halfway through.

- Kyrat is home to abundant and dangerous wildlife, from leopards and rhinos to vicious honey badgers. They will hunt you, but they will also hunt your enemies, and climbing aboard a six-ton war elephant to smash through an outpost is one of the more memorable ways to settle an argument.

- Animal hides upgrade your holsters, ammo pouches and packs, so the hunt is never just for sport. Between missions the open world offers fortresses to besiege, bell towers to climb and a countryside full of side activities that reward you for straying off the path.

Invite a friend to drop in and out of your game at any time to explore the living world of Kyrat together, coordinate attacks on fortified outposts and hunt legendary beasts side by side. Competitive multiplayer modes pit the Golden Path against Pagan Min's Rakshasa forces, and the map editor lets you build and share arenas of your own.
