Dishonored: Definitive Edition

Digital 457,00

Dishonored: Definitive Edition gathers Arkane Studios' 2012 stealth-action landmark together with every add-on released for it: Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and the Void Walker Arsenal. You play Corvo Attano, once the trusted bodyguard of the Empress, framed for her murder and marked by the Outsider with powers no common man should hold. Dunwall, a whaling city rotting under plague and a corrupt Lord Regent, is yours to cross however you see fit: across the rooftops without a sound, or through the front gate with your blade drawn.

A City Built on Whale Oil and Fear

Dunwall is the creation of Viktor Antonov, the art director behind Half-Life 2's City 17, and it shows in every cobbled street and tilting tenement. Whale oil powers the Lord Regent's arc pylons and walls of light, stilt-walking tallboys patrol the quarantined districts, and the weepers, plague victims in the final stage of the disease, stagger through flooded alleys. Guards gossip at their posts, servants keep journals, audiographs sit half-finished on desks, and all of it fills in a world that feels lived in long before Corvo arrived. It is a city thick with intrigue, and it rewards anyone who slows down to listen.

Improvise, Innovate, Eliminate

Every mission gives you a target, a district and the freedom to connect the two however you like. The Outsider's mark unlocks a suite of supernatural abilities, and runes hidden throughout Dunwall let you upgrade them, while bone charms add smaller passive bonuses that shape your style over time.

Blink
A short-range teleport that carries you to a ledge, a balcony or the space directly behind an unsuspecting guard. Blink is the spine of Dishonored's movement, turning every rooftop, pipe and chandelier into a possible route.
Possession
Take control of a rat to slip through a drain, a fish to swim past a checkpoint, or at higher levels a person to walk straight through a guarded door. Few games let you enter a mansion as vermin and leave as its master.
Bend Time
Slow the world to a crawl or stop it outright. Walk between crossbow bolts, rearrange a room full of enemies, or line up a chain of kills that resolves the instant the clock restarts.
Weapons and gadgets
Corvo's folding sword, pistol and crossbow sit alongside spring razors, sticky grenades and rewire tools that turn the Lord Regent's own security against his men. Sleep darts and chokeholds cover the non-lethal side of the ledger.

The World Reacts to How You Play

Dishonored keeps score in a way that matters. Kill freely and the chaos level rises: more rats swarm the streets, more weepers wander the districts, allies at the Hound Pits Pub grow colder, and the story bends toward a darker ending. Move like a ghost, spare your targets through the non-lethal options each mission hides, and Dunwall responds in kind. Every assassination target can be removed without a drop of blood if you find the way, and the choice of whether to look for it is entirely yours. That system is why so many players finish the game and immediately start over as a different kind of Corvo.

Daud's Side of the Story

The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches form a two-part campaign starring Daud, the assassin whose blade set Corvo's story in motion. Daud carries his own variations on the Outsider's gifts, including Summon Assassin to call in his Whalers, Void Gaze to reveal runes and bone charms, and in the second chapter Pull, which yanks enemies through the air toward you. His arsenal adds Chokedust, whale oil-powered Stun Mines and a concealed Wristbow. The search for a woman named Delilah leads through the Rothwild Slaughterhouse, the Legal District, Draper's Ward and the gothic Brigmore Manor, and your upgrades, chaos level and choices carry over from one chapter to the next through a compatible save. Daud's story ends where it has to: face to face with Corvo Attano.

Trials, Arsenal and Everything Else

  • Dunwall City Trials offers ten challenge maps that pull Dishonored's combat, stealth and mobility apart and score each one on its own. Fight off waves of tallboys and guards, chain drop assassinations against the clock, or infiltrate a mansion for its loot without ever being seen.
  • Completing the trials unlocks a new set of achievements and an image gallery of original concept art from the studio, a fitting reward for anyone who wants to see how Dunwall was drawn before it was built.
  • The Void Walker Arsenal adds the Acrobatic Killer, Arcane Assassin, Backstreet Butcher and Shadow Rat packs, waiting for Corvo at the Hound Pits Pub with extra bone charm slots, bonus coins, unhidden books and character bonuses for the main campaign.

Dunwall has been waiting more than a decade for new assassins, and it has lost none of its pull. Put on the mask, decide what kind of Corvo you are going to be, and find out what the Outsider's gifts cost.
