MotoGP 20 puts you inside the official 2020 season — every rider across MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, every circuit including Finland's new Kymi Ring — and then hands you the part of the sport most racing games leave out: the career behind the racing. Milestone's simulation asks you to manage tires, develop the bike and out-think a field of AI riders that learn from the way you race.
A Career You Manage, Not Just Ride
The revived Managerial Career mode lets you join a 2020 season team and race alongside the official riders, or start from scratch with a brand-new team shaped by your manager's advice. A complete entourage supports your path to the top, and the decisions you make between sessions carry as much weight as the laps themselves.
Bike development runs through dedicated career tests, where your input improves specific technical areas of the machine: electronic traction control, engine brake, the anti-wheelie system, power mapping, engine, frame and aerodynamics. Choosing what to develop first is a strategy in its own right.
A Simulation That Respects the Rider
Tire wear and the braking system demand genuine management across a race distance, and the improved physics make every corner a negotiation between grip, lean and throttle. The upgraded neural AI is built on machine learning — it identifies what you do on track and reacts, so the riders around you defend, attack and adapt like professionals rather than following a script.
The 2020 edition also brings major graphic improvements to sky, asphalt, weather, lighting and vegetation, along with visible damage on the bike that affects how it performs. New 3D rider models and face-scanned team managers round out the sense that you're part of a real paddock.
Race the Legends
Mick Doohan, Wayne Rainey, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa headline a historic roster of 46 riders and 43 bikes spanning the sport's eras. New historic content and a new game mode let you relive grand prix history firsthand — or settle, once and for all, how your favorite era's machinery compares.
Make the Bike Yours
Five graphics editors cover your sticker, helmet, racing number, the name on your suit and the full bike livery. Combine sponsors, colors and materials until the machine on the grid is unmistakably yours.
Online, Run Properly
Dedicated servers back every mode of online competition. Public lobbies are fully customizable — laps, weather, sessions — private lobbies keep an event between friends, and the Race Director option lets one player set the starting grid, assign penalties and run the race like a real official.
If your idea of a great racing game includes the Tuesday test as much as the Sunday race, MotoGP 20 was built for you — suit up and take your place on the grid.
